Another addition to the Enlightened Coast product line is the wax melt. These 100% soy wax melts smell just as amazing as our other collections with no lighters or candles required. Just grab your wax melter or wax warmer (these can be purchased from places like Yankee Candle, Walmart, Target, Kohls, etc.), drop several chunks of our wax melts into the melt pan, and let the fragrance fill your space with amazing-ness. We love that with wax warmers and melters you have the ability to mix and match different fragrances in the melt pan. One advantage of melts versus traditional candles is the ability to create a new favorite scent by mixing them together.
Our melts come in multiple styles. There is a clamshell style - one has 5 rectangular pieces that can be broken apart and the other has 10 square pieces. The only difference between them is a matter of controlling how much is added to your melt pan at one time - with smaller pieces you can control the strength of the scent more easily by how much you add. Another style is our decorative molded type. With many shapes that are holiday-themed, these fun melts can be set out as decor and fill your space with amazing fragrance when not being melted. Both are 2 oz in size and are preserved neatly in their clamshell container or zip-style plastic baggie when not being used. And even though many of these look a lot like a candy and smell delicious - DO NOT CONSUME THE WAX! We like to be deliberate with our public service warnings. :-)
Scents tend to be seasonal in nature. But we believe anything that smells good deserves to be enjoyed all year long! To help many of you determine what your candle, wax melt, or wax tart smells like, we wanted to create a helpful guide. Take a peek through our large list of options and hopefully you will find many that appeal to you.

We use natural soy wax as our primary raw material. We do not use any paraffin in our handcrafted candles. We also use phthalate-free fragrance oils and essential oils to create each candle's unique scent. The wicks are made with lead-free braided cotton. All color dyes we utilize are formulated without carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins. They’re also vegan friendly.

All orders are processed and shipped within 10 business days. Please allow additional processing time prior to and during holidays.
We accept returns within 10 business days on unused candles only. The buyer will be credited the price of the candle, but will incur the cost of shipping the candle(s) back to Enlightened Coast Candles unless an error was made on our part. Used candles cannot be returned or refunded. Contact us at enlightenedcoast@gmail.com with inquiries or if your shipment was damaged en route. Pictures will be needed of the damage for any claims. We ship with insurance included for our customers.

CANDLES
See the label on the bottom of every candle container we provide. To prevent fire and serious injury:
Burn the candle within sight.
Keep away from drafts and vibrations.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Never burn your candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. We try to keep all wicks at this height when sold.
Keep the candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.
Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface.
Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
WAX MELTS & TARTS
To prevent Fire or Injury:
Remove packaging before use.
Use only in tea-light warmers or UL-listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read and follow all instructions provided with your warmer before use.
DO NOT leave melter unattended while in use.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Instructions:
DO NOT add water.
DO NOT melt on stove top or in non-approved appliances.
Use only in well ventilated areas away from flammable materials.
Discontinue use if dish contains less than 1/2" (1.3 cm)
