Born in Lewes, Delaware—a town of lighthouses, salt air, and coastal charm—Enlightened Coast Candles began with some bold ideas: abandon traditional candle making, trade paraffin for all-natural soy wax, and replace bland glass jars with designs that strike on purpose, literally with match-strike lids shaped like Delaware’s coastline.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Scott — a chemical engineer who swapped corporate America for candle wicks. After years of working long hours to make other people rich while beating cancer in the process, I set out to craft healthier home scents you can feel good about using in your home and around your children, pets, and loved ones. Every candle in our lineup is hand-poured with care, freedom, and a bit of coastal inspiration.
What Makes Us Different
We use non-toxic, all-natural soy wax, free from paraffin & carcinogens. We also use luxury fragrance oils that are free of phthalates, meet the highest safety standards, and are rated for optimal scent throw and performance in natural waxes.
