Not all ‘soy’ candles are created equal. Soy-blended or soy-based candles can contain as little as 5% soy wax, mixed with heavy paraffin content or additives, and still label themselves as a ‘soy candle’. We encourage everyone to ask ‘What’s in this?’ as a consumer. At Enlightened Coast Candles, 100% soy wax means exactly that—no harmful petroleum byproducts, no hidden toxins.
All products contain plant-based natural waxes and they are all paraffin-free. Our candles are 100% soy wax, and our wax melts are a coconut, sunflower, and soy blended wax.
How Long They Last
Candles: Burn time varies based on the vessel, your environment, and adherence to the 4-hour burn duration limit, but as a general guide: expect 6–7 hours of burn per ounce of wax.
Reed Diffusers: Most last several weeks to a few months, depending on how many reeds you use and the room’s humidity.
Wax Tarts: Our all-natural melts last months with regular use, and when stored, their scent stays strong for years.
